WILLET
WILLET (formerly known as CLEARVIEW) is a Rock Band out of Westminster, MD made up of brothers, Jeremy, Justin, and Jordan Willet. In 2005, WILLET, signed a booking and management agreement with RARENTERTAINMENT, and in July of 2006 the band signed a record deal with CRIMSON FORGED RECORDS. WILLET’s touring has consisted of national tours and major festival appearances such as CORNERSTONE, LIFELIGHT, and OY FEST. The idea for WILLET (comprised of the 3 Willet brothers) began on a family trip to Florida while watching a CHEVELLE DVD in the backseat. Jeremy, Justin and Jordan grew up in a Christian home taking piano lessons from their father, which resulted in expanding to other instruments such as bass, drums and guitar. Being that the Willet brothers have always shared a close relationship both musically, and relationally, they pursued a vision to help kids all over the world. Inspired by the 3 brothers that make up CHEVELLE, plus a deep root for integrity, and a passion for an intense live show, the band tours the country full time sharing their music. WILLET can be compared to the live show energy of STORY OF THE YEAR (guitar tosses, throws, and choreographed stunts), the “crowd pleasing anthems” of THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH, and the “radio-friendly” songs of SWITCHFOOT. WILLET has had the opportunity to share the stage with national acts such as STARFIELD, HAWK NELSON, KJ-52, MAINSTAY, FALLING UP, JOHN RUEBEN, PROJECT 86, THOUSAND FOOT CRUTCH, CASTING PEARLS, TAIT, LAST TUESDAY, STAPLE, STELLAR KART, BY THE TREE, DAY OF FIRE, and KIDS IN THE WAY. WILLET has also graced the pages of the following magazines: BREAKAWAY MAGAZINE RELEVANT MAGAZINE HM MAGAZINE In 2006, WILLET was nominated for 2 MOMENTUM AWARDS in Nashville TN for 1. BEST ROCK GROUP OF THE YEAR 2. BEST MALE VOCALIST- JEREMY WILLET In March of 2006, WILLET received the award for "THE HARDEST WORKING ARTIST" from the NASHVILLE MOMENTUM AWARDS. In May 0f 2006, the band was recognized for their efforts in sponsoring over 130 kids! In July of 2006, WILLET’S “WE’RE NOT KEEPING THIS QUIET” SINGLE HIT #1 ON WEATHERED STEEL RADIO AS WELL AS #5 ON THE LOUD CHART REPORTED BY CMW. In addition to WILLET’S endorsements by TWICEBORN CLOTHING, FAVEUR FASION, DILLION GUITARS, and CURT MANGAN STRINGS, WILLET is doing their part in making a difference by being artists representatives for FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY www.fh.org. The intense energy, and amazing sound of WILLET’S live show has been gaining fans all across the country as the band attempts to provide hope to its generation through incorporating a message of hope through their stage performance.
