Management Team

Dorrian Porter is the founder and CEO of Mozes. He is an entrepreneur who co-founded HigherMarkets, an on-demand software company in March 2000. He later became CEO and led it to its acquisition by a Nasdaq listed company in 2002. Dorrian worked with the combined company until July 2005, where he helped significantly grow the business and shape the company's product offerings. Previously, Dorrian practiced law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California where he represented a wide range of tech companies. Prior to joining WSGR, he worked in Canada as an associate at McCarthy Tetrault, an analyst at Harrowston, Inc. (now TD Capital) and at the Canadian Parliament, including the Prime Minister's Office. Dorrian received his law degree and MBA from the University of Toronto and a bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Ottawa.

Aaron Clark is the Vice President of Business Development at Mozes. Prior to joining Mozes, he spent six years in management roles at Citadon, an on-demand provider of web-based collaboration solutions backed by Warburg Pincus and Insight Venture Partners. At Citadon, Aaron oversaw customer service and managed infrastructure operations, overseeing two global datacenters that supported customers such as Ikea, General Motors and GE. Prior to Citadon Aaron was a Field Engineer for Minneapolis-based Vital Images, the leading provider of 3D medical visualization and analysis software. Aaron holds a master's degree in GIS and bachelor's degree in Geography, Mathematics and Chemistry, all from Minnesota State University, where he also played intercollegiate football and baseball.

Greg Estes is the Vice President of Marketing at Mozes. Greg's professional career includes more than 20 years working for technology- and entertainment-related businesses. Before joining Mozes, Greg served as the vice president and chief marketing officer at Avid Technology, Inc., responsible for the company's global brand and corporate marketing initiatives. Prior to Avid, he served as vice president of global marketing for Silicon Graphics, where he was instrumental in the company's development of animation, special effects, video serving, and digital asset management solutions, along with the implementation of the corporate brand, advertising, marketing programs, strategic partnerships and public relations worldwide. Greg is a musician himself, performing as a keyboardist and guitarist for several Bay Area bands.

Huajun Qin is the Vice President of Engineering and Chief Architect at Mozes. Before joining Mozes, he was a Distinguished Software Engineer at E*TRADE Financial. During his ten year tenure, Huajun was instrumental in developing a highly scalable, fault tolerant service oriented architecture for the company. Prior to E*TRADE, he was a technical consultant for multiple clients, including Hewlett Packard and homegain.com. He also worked as Principal Engineer at IA Corporation, delivering high performance document imaging and check archive solutions for Fortune 100 companies. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook, M.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology, and B.S. from Southwestern Jiaotong University in China.

Irv Remedios is the Vice President of Products. Prior to joining Mozes, Irv led product strategy, development and marketing efforts for internet-based applications at Adobe. He was responsible for emerging technologies including mobile authoring and web-based services. Prior to Adobe, Irv held senior product marketing, and management roles at HigherMarkets, later acquired by SciQuest. Irv has also worked as an information technology and business consultant with Arthur Anderson and Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Waterloo.

Dan Steinman recently joined Mozes, Inc. as Vice President, Customer Success. The success of Mozes depends largely on our customers being successful, therefore, Dan will play a critical role in leading the Client Services and Support teams in front-line customer interface. Dan brings a well-rounded skill set to this diverse position. Prior to joining Mozes, Dan was a founder and VP of Customer Relations at mobile shopping pioneer, NearbyNow. Prior to that, Dan held executive positions in client relations, business development, sales and customer support for a number of technology companies, including leading CRM provider E.phiphany. Vice President, Marketing, Greg Estes, said of his hiring, "You can imagine that having an executive with experience in mobile, start-ups, CRM and running client services organizations is a big win for the company, and I'm not alone in saying how excited I am to be having Dan join the team. Curtis Thompson is the Vice President, Global Sales and Business Development. Prior to joining Mozes, Curtis was Vice President North American Sales at Responsys, the leading email service and marketing automation provider. From 2006 through 2008, his teams were responsible for record revenue and bookings growth that led to a doubling of company revenue during that period. Curtis brings 10 years of interactive marketing experience including six years with DoubleClick, now Google. While there, he developed expertise in database marketing while selling a range of digital marketing solutions including display advertising, email marketing, campaign management and website analytics. Curtis received a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Auckland.
