What is Mozes?
Mozes is a leader in mobile engagement, used everyday by some of the world’s best-loved bands, brands, teams and organizations to build relationships with their fans through the mobile phone.

Mozes helps our marketing partners in three ways:

  • By providing Mozes Connect, a self-service web platform to create, deliver and analyze the effectiveness of mobile marketing campaigns
  • By providing strategic services that help our marketing partners to execute their mobile engagement strategy
  • By providing in-venue services for live events, conferences and tours

Your customers benefit from a spam-free and consistent mobile experience they can trust, which results in increased participation, brand loyalty and ultimately more effective marketing campaigns.

What is a keyword?
You choose a keyword (your mobile alias) when you sign up for a Mozes Connect account in order to begin creating mobile marketing campaigns. Your fans or consumers then text your keyword to the Mozes shortcode, 66937, to join your mob. They can also join your mob online via your Mozes homepage (www.mozes.com/yourkeyword); via a Mozes widget you can embed on your website(s), or by calling your Mozes voice line, if you have one.

What is a mob?
A mob is a shorter word for mobile list, but it also has Latin roots meaning group. Your fans or consumers will opt-in to become part of your mob. Mob members receive exclusive announcements, offers and content from you - their favorite band, brand, team, or organization - via their mobile phone. You can also solicit feedback from your mob by sending them trivia questions, open-ended questions, or encouraging them to leave you messages on your voice line.

Who can use Mozes Connect?
Anyone who wants to reach their audience via the mobile phone. Whether you’re an indie band, a house of worship, a club, a professional sports team, a major label, or a national brand name, Mozes offers you the best solution for effective mobile engagement.

How much does it cost?
The cost varies based on the kind of campaign(s) you would like to create and manage. We have options for everyone starting as low as $10 per month. Contact a Mozes Sales representative or get started and try our $10 per month package.

Do the numbers I acquire belong to me?
Yes. Our Terms of Service require that you notify fans if you leave the Mozes Service, but the numbers you acquire are yours and we will not message your mob except on your behalf.

Who can send my mob members messages?
Mozes is spam-free. The numbers you acquire belong to you, therefore, your mob members will only receive the messages that you send them. They can also receive messages from other mobs they have joined.

What mobile devices does Mozes support?
You can access Mozes with any mobile phone that has text messaging capabilities (except those with prepaid accounts).

I’m away from my computer, can I send a message to my mob? Yes. Depending on the Mozes Connect edition you use, you can send your mob messages from your phone by placing the @ symbol in front of your keyword, followed by a space, and then your message to 66937. For instance, "@YOURKEYWORD Tune in to see me perform tonight at 8pm at the Red Devil Lounge".

In what countries can I find Mozes?
We’re currently available in the US and Canada. Canadian customers can receive text updates only. Contact a Mozes sales representative in regards to coverage in Europe and beyond

Do I have to use the Mozes shortcode (66937)?
Mozes campaigns all utilize the 66937 shortcode , which spells Mozes. This lets your audience know they’re receiving a safe and consistent message from Mozes. Some of our larger customers do operate the Mozes Service using a different shortcode. For more information about this option, please contact a Mozes sales representative.

Can I have more than one keyword?
Yes. Depending on the Mozes Connect edition you use, you may run multiple campaigns, using multiple keywords.

What's the advantage of my mob members seeing the Mozes brand when I send them messages?
Mozes is a branded service, which guarantees a permission-based, spam-free mobile experience. Your audience will identify the Mozes brand as safe and consistent, which results in increased participation, improved conversion, and more effective campaigns for you, the marketer.

Do my mob members have to go to Mozes.com to us the service?
No. There are many ways for your members to join your mob and interact with you without ever going to Mozes.com. However, if your members sign up for a free My Mozes account, they can download content from their phone and pick it up online in their account. My Mozes also allows members to create their own Mozes profile where they can share more of their interests and demographic information.

What kinds of content can I send to my mob?
You can send a variety of content out to your members, such as text or voice announcements. Broadcast out content like ringtones and wallpaper or audio and video clips. Engage in conversations with your mob by sending out trivia or poll questions. Even incorporate an interactive audio session into your next promotion, or reward your members with sweepstakes or contests. Your campaigns are limited only by your ideas.
