What is Mozes?
Mozes lets you send and receive exclusive mobile messages and content to and from your favorite bands, brands, teams, causes and more using your mobile phone. You do this by opting in to a mobile list associated with that band, brand, artist or team. These groups are called "mobs". When you join a mob, you receive inside information (alerts about upcoming releases, or tickets going on sale), receive complimentary gifts such as ringtones or wallpaper, participate in contests or sweepstakes and more.
How much does it cost?
Mozes is free for participants (Msg&Data rates may apply). There are absolutely no hidden fees.
Will you share my number with others?
Absolutely not. Your number will never be made public or sold to others. When you opt-in to a mob to receive messages, you will only receive messages from that mob or mobs. No spam ever! Check out our Privacy Policy.
What is My Mozes?
Joining My Mozes is not required to use the Mozes service to connect to what you love. But by signing up for My Mozes you will be able to:
- Download content on your phone and pick up at your account online
- Customize your my Mozes profile page and let others know your favorite bands, links, interests
- Become eligible to opt-in to the IAMMOBILE mob to receive the latest offers and complimentary stuff on Mozes
What is a keyword?
A keyword is a mobile alias. For instance, the band Fall Out Boy has the keyword FOB. If you want to join Fall Out Boy's mob you could join their mob online at www.mozes.com/fob, or you could text their keyword, FOB to the Mozes shortcode 66937* to join (Msg&Data rates may apply).
What is a mob?
A mob is a shorter word for mobile list, but it also has Latin roots meaning group. Mob members receive exclusive announcements, offers and content from their favorite band, brand, team, product, event and more via the mobile phone. As a member of a mob, you can communicate back using text and voice messages.
Can I leave a mob?
Joining and leaving a mob is easy. To leave a mob that you are already in, reply to a mob message with: STOP followed by the keyword of the mob. For instance, to leave the Fall Out Boy mob, I would reply STOP FOB to 66937*.
Who can use it?
Everyone! Whether you're a fan, student, consumer or voter, you can send and receive mobile text and voice messages, as well as content and rich media.
Can I send messages to other mob members?
No. Mozes is not a social network or designed for friend-to-friend text messaging. You can send messages to your favorite artist, band, team, brand and more and people can see the messages you leave on the mob’s activity page at Mozes.com or via a Mozes widget on a webpage.
What types of message would I receive?
You may receive a variety of messages, such as text or voice announcements. A favorite band of yours may send you a ringtone and your favorite sports team may send you a commemorative mobile wallpaper. By being a mob member, you may receive trivia questions, be invited to participate in an interactive audio session with your favorite artist or enter a contest.
As a mob member, can I receive messages anytime?
Yes. Being a member of a mob means you receive messages as they are sent by the mob owner. Join My Mozes and set quiet hours by clicking "Settings" on the top, right-hand side of the page and selecting the time period during which you do not wish to receive messages. When your quiet hours end, you'll get the messages you missed.
What mobile devices does Mozes support?
You can access Mozes with any mobile phone that has text messaging capabilities (except those with prepaid accounts).
In what countries can I find Mozes?
Right now we're in the US and Canada. Canadian customers can receive text updates only. Apologies to our international friends.
