Forsaken
Forsaken was born in the summer of 1999 out of true love of real metal. Many Musicians have come and gone through the years, but have definitely left their mark with the band. In 2002, Forsaken really started thrashing with the addition of vocalist Keith. With his vocals and the fullness of the bands dual guitar attack, Forsaken started to come into it's own, as one of Detroit’s heaviest metal bands. Garrick joined the band in 2006, lending up his heavy bass sounds, Tom joined on guitar and Rick on the drums in 2007 making this the best line up yet. Forsaken has recorded a 3 song demo in 2003 and now is in the process of finishing up their first full-length CD. They have opened up for nationals like Lamb of God, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad, Dark Tranquility, Hypocrisy, Mnemic, Super Joint Ritual, Opeth, Devildriver, Children of Bodom, Darkane, Throwdown, Overkill, Moonspell, Slithryn, Sanctity and many others. They have played everywhere in Detroit, all over Michigan and some out of state shows.
