Echoes Fade
Echoes Fade is a Davis-based band (that's near Sacramento). We write music from our hearts, so you might find a lot of sad and bitter songs about girls. Ultimately, we hope that you, the listener, will see a little bit of yourself in everything we play. We have a few victories to our name. We won the UC Davis "Davis Rock Challenge" in 2004 versus 11 other bands, and we've gotten as far as the National Finals in the World Battle of the Bands competition (as of 11.08.05). Below you can find a little of our history. Enjoy. Echoes Fade is an act like none other. Fusing melodic guitar riffs and soaring vocal harmonies with an acoustic pop-rock sensibility, Echoes Fade has been pleasing crowds on college campuses for more than a three years. Their heartfelt lyrics and engaging melodies defy traditional classification, while still being relevant to the listening audience. Formed in 2002 by Christian Warner and Domenic Santangelo, the "Christian & Domenic" duo began as an acoustic act which boasted creative songwriting, powerful guitar and catchy bass grooves. Soon their talent exceeded their acoustic limitations well-studied drummer Ben Vanderplas and guitarist Erik "smoking lead" Levinson joined the upward-bound and forward-looking team. Echoes Fade is a young group, topping out at 25 years of age. Their youthful energy and stage dynamics make them a sure crowd-pleaser at any event. Currently, the band is booking shows in the Sacramento/Los Angeles area.
