Fan FAQ

Hello Fan!

If you participated in a Mozes powered campaign, such as a mobile contest, trivia, or sent a text or picture to a screen at an event, then we hope that this page is helpful.

Mozes provides the mobile technology that powered those activities and cannot relay messages to artists or to brands on your behalf. Please contact the event organizers for additional information or help, beyond what is provided below for both US and Canadian fans.

Thanks!

Signed,

The Team at Mozes

United States Fan FAQs

I participated in a campaign using my mobile phone. How do I unsubscribe?
To see a list of all Mozes-powered campaigns that you are currently subscribed to, text ‘STOP’ to 66937. You will get a list back via SMS, and have the option to unsubscribe from a specific campaign by replying with the appropriate choice. If you know the keyword of the list you joined and wish to unsubscribe, simply text ‘STOP KEYWORD’ to 66937 (substituting KEYWORD with your campaign’s specific keyword). For example, if you want to unsubscribe from Sarah’s list and the keyword you texted to join her list was ‘Sarah’, text “STOP SARAH” to 66937. If you want to be removed from all the campaigns you are currently subscribed to, then text ‘STOP ALL’ to 66937.

NOTE: Although most Mozes-powered campaigns use the short code (5 digit number) 66937, some of our customers might use a different short code. Some of the other shortcodes Mozes powers include 30103, 404040, 50505, 72855, and 788638. You can text the STOP keyword on either shortcode and it will still work.

Does it cost any money for me to participate in these Mozes-powered campaigns?
Mozes does not charge you anything to receive messages. However, your carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply. If you have an unlimited texting plan, then a Mozes text message is included in that plan.

I tried to participate in a Mozes-powered campaign at a live event and it didn’t work. Why?
Although Mozes works on 99% of carriers and phones in the United States and Canada, it is impossible for us to support every phone in the market. If you have an older phone or service through a small regional carrier, then some experiences may not work correctly on your phone. Most issues are caused by a misspelling or incorrect message format. Try again and make sure that you’re texting exactly what the instructions outline at the event.

Additionally, if you have recently changed carriers, there may be a temporary hold placed on your number. You can contact your carrier to verify if this is the case.

I texted to get a ringtone and it didn’t work. Help!
If you receive a text message offering a ringtone, then there should be a link to access the ringtone to your phone. If you have a Verizon phone, the text message will not contain a link. But, you should receive an MMS message containing the ringtone file. In either case, save the ringtone to your phone. Make sure you save it in the same place on your phone where other ringtones are stored. Then, follow your phone’ s instructions to set it as your main ringtone.

NOTE FOR IPHONE USERS: iPhones (and some other smart phones) do not allow you to save audio files, so ringtones from Mozes will not work on your phone. They will only play as a streaming file in Safari. You can always type the URL in on your computer to download the file and then side load it to your phone.

I texted to get a wallpaper for my phone and it didn’t work. Help!
If you receive a text message offering a wallpaper, then it should contain a link. Click the link and it will either open the wallpaper in a browser or download it straight to your phone. If you have a Verizon phone, then the text message will not contain a link. But, you should receive an MMS message containing the wallpaper file. In either case, save the wallpaper to your phone and follow your phone’s instructions for setting the wallpaper as your background.

I entered a contest. Did I win?
Mozes itself does not facilitate any sweepstakes or contests. We simply provide the technology to power them. The contest organizer will notify the winner by texting, or calling, with instructions on how to claim the prize. Good luck!

It said my number is locked. How did that happen?
Mobile campaigns are only available to participants over the age of 13. Also, some Mozes customers require that all participants in a contest are 18 and over. If you entered your birthday and indicated that you are under the age required to participate, then we have automatically locked your number. If you believe this happened in error, then please email your phone number and full birth date to mozessupport@eprize.com.

I texted to get a ringtone/wallpaper and it didn’t work. Help!
Unfortunately, Mozes content (ringtones and wallpapers) are not available to Canadian participants. The Canadian carriers are unable to process and deliver our ringtone/wallpaper files.

I participated in a campaign but the message is cut off. Why can’t I see the full message?
While the US carriers allow up to 160 characters in a text message, Canadian carriers only allow 134 characters. If you participated in a campaign that was designed for US participants, then the last 26 characters of the message may be cut off.
