The LA Phil ran a mobile sweepstakes giving fans the opportunity to attend the party VIP-style by texting “VOODOO” to 66937 and joining their mobile fan list.

Rascal Flatts Fans Were In For A Treat This Holiday Season

RF3Rascal Flatts mobile fan list members received an exciting treat this holiday season. The group recorded their rendition of the Christmas song, “Away In A Manger”, and broadcast it out to their entire mobile list.

The free mp3 was also available to the public on the Rascal Flatts official site mobile page. The online sign-up form encouraged visitors to opt-in to Rascal Flatts’ Mozes mobile fan list upon submission.

Word of the exclusive giveaway began to spread virally across Flatts’ fan message boards and social networking sites, resulting in radio stations adding it to their playlists before management and label teams even reached out.

This mobile giveaway allowed Flatts to collect thousands of fan email addresses and experience a nearly 10% click-through rate.
