Dorrian Talks INTEGRITY and TRUST at FTC’s Town Hall

Posted on May 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment

ftc.jpgYesterday, Mozes CEO Dorrian Porter, participated on a panel discussion at the Federal Trade Commission’s annual Town Hall. The panel “Beyond Voice: Mapping the Mobile Marketplace” was designed to help educate audiences about interactive mobile marketing. During the panel, Dorrian provided an overview of Mozes and its delivery of a spam-free, permission-based network designed to bring trust and consistency to marketers and consumers.

“Mozes works hard to address consumers’ well-founded skepticism about mobile marketing by delivering trusted and valued experiences,” said Porter.

Mobile marketing has come under fire by some critics who say it would threaten privacy by compromising cell phone customers’ personal data, or that the medium would prove too invasive. The industry is further damaged by the existence of mobile marketing companies that engage in unscrupulous practices. In contrast, Mozes provides consumers with the tool to control how, when and from whom they receive text and voice messages through their mobile phones, and provides marketers with effective ways to engage with their audiences.
