Rock Group Drop Dead, Gorgeous Partners with Mozes to Premiere their New Music Video via the Mobile Phone

"They'll Never Get Me (Word with You)" Music Video from the Band's Billboard Top 200 Release Worse Than a Fairytale Debuts TODAY

SANTA MONICA, CA (November 2, 2007) - With their intense blend of rock, post-hardcore metal and screamo, Denver-based Drop Dead, Gorgeous are combining their groundbreaking sound with Mozes (www.mozes.com) to premier the video for their latest single "They'll Never Get Me (Word with You)," today, Friday, November 2. Fans can text the word 'gorgeous' to 66937 to receive a 30-second clip of the video delivered straight to their phones. Once they log in at Mozes.com, fans get a link to watch the entire video online at Mozes.com.

"Drop Dread, Gorgeous has a groundbreaking sound, so we needed a way to showcase their video in a way that has never been done before," said Ashley Jex, Director of New Media, Suretone Records. "Drop Dead, Gorgeous had a strong desire to heighten the interaction between their music and their fans. We're thrilled that Mozes could help us innovatively execute our idea."

In support of the new video, the band will continue their endless tour throughout the fall, following their successful stint at this summer's Vans Warped Tour and the international Taste of Chaos tour. Drop Dead, Gorgeous kicks off a steady stream of dates starting November 1, in Covington, Kentucky and will wind their way throughout the country before ending up in Orangevale, California on December 1. Mozes will be on hand the entire way by powering the mobile interaction between the band and their fans. Drop Dead, Gorgeous plans to run live mobile contests, meet-and-greet opportunities, custom voicemail messages and more, using Mozes.

"This was a very imaginative idea from Drop Dead, Gorgeous, and it also shows the progress that's being made in the mobile marketing space," said Dorrian Porter, CEO of Mozes. "Suretone Records is taking the lead in innovative approaches towards promotional campaigns, ultimately changing the way bands communicate with their fans from here on out."

Drop Dead, Gorgeous came back on the scene this year with a brand new Suretone Records release, Worse Than a Fairytale. The dark, compelling rock opus slashed its way up the charts upon its August release, debuting on the Billboard Top 200 and selling an excess of 5,000 copies in the first week of sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Additionally, the album entered at #5 on the Billboard's Heatseekers chart. At radio, "They'll Never Get Me (Word with You)" is making waves at stations across the country, rising to the #3 most-added track on FMQB's Metal Detector for metal specialty stations and #4 most-added on the CMJ Loud Rock chart for college radio.

Worse Than a Fairy Tale was recorded in L.A. with super-producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot, The Cure) and veteran mixer Chris Lord-Alge. The conceptual collection of interrelated songs showcases the uniquely dissonant yet melodic Drop Dead, Gorgeous. Worse Than a Fairy Tale is a concept album, as well as an interactive experience for fans, telling the story of a serial killer who plies his trade in a small town called Saylor Lake. Every song connects the pieces of the puzzle, and listeners will have the opportunity to decipher the mystery themselves through a multimedia experience on www.worsethanafairytale.com, which features postings and artwork related to the story.

The five members of Drop Dead, Gorgeous came together in Denver and quickly signed with Rise Records in September 2005 after being discovered by the label through songs posted on their MySpace and Purevolume Web pages. While half of the band members were still in high school, the prolific group released their debut EP Be Mine, Valentine in early 2006 and their full-length, In Vogue, several months later. Following extensive touring throughout that summer, the group signed with Suretone Records and immediately began work on their sophomore effort. Respected tastemakers Alternative Press magazine named Drop Dead, Gorgeous as one of their "100 Bands You Need To Know In '07."
